General Review
Japan Illustrators' Association
This group presented many works with storytelling elements and strong visual completion. Children at this stage begin to express their feelings through narratives within their illustrations, showing increasing awareness of composition and visual flow.
Top-ranked works featured refined color control and well-balanced portrayals of characters and backgrounds. Among the Bronze and Honorable Mention pieces, judges noted efforts to take on challenging compositions and depict everyday life from unique viewpoints, demonstrating a broad range of expression.
Belle Lee
In this group, I was impressed by how well the participants developed their concepts. Both the storytelling and technical skills stood out, and many of the artworks were surprisingly sophisticated for their age. It was inspiring to see how confidently they expressed their ideas visually.
Victo Ngai
Works in this group showed growing narrative clarity and symbolic thinking. While some messages relied on descriptions, stronger visual metaphors and focus can help ideas shine through more directly. Great potential emerging here.

A Day in Fruit Town
Hand-drawn, watercolor, fine-liner pen
I slowly descended onto the paradise filled with many little animals by balloon. The busy day started in the Fruit Town, where there were plenty of delicious foods, such as fruits, vegetables, hamburgers, and so on. This place is not only the home of the animals but also their playground, welcoming new friends from different places every day. I really like it here and hope that more friends will come to visit and have fun.
BRONZE AWARD

The Cherubim
Oil on paper / Three-dimensional work
Every morning, the campus always echoes with the melodious tune about angels. The singing is like a spiritual spring, flowing into the heart. Close your eyes, and it seems as if you can catch a glimpse of the ethereal figure of an angel. Capture that dreamlike appearance with the brush of art.The Cherubim shine with the light of wisdom in the sacred chapters. Their representative figure, CHERUBINES, is the first angel to appear in the narrative river of the Bible. They are the loyal guardians of the Garden of Eden, embodying the profound meanings of “cultivators” and “knowledge.” Their holy name “Cherub” implies the gift of having the ability to perceive and understand the divine power. In Dionysius’ “Celestial Hierarchy,” the Cherubim and Seraphim have distinct characteristics: the Seraphim display divine majesty with “many wings,” while the Cherubim symbolize the endless pursuit and enlightenment of wisdom with “many eyes.” We, too, are gently illuminated under the radiance of this sacred wisdom.
Botany of the four seasons in Taiwan
watercolour and oil pastel on paper
I love to go into the natural and interact with the environment, playing with plants and small things such as bugs and frogs. I also like to spend hours observing different plants and flowers, their colours and shapes always fascinate me. I learned from a book that scientists in the past used to draw things in the nature and study them, so I thought perhaps I can also create some artwork to show people what have seen. Since I like to observe plants, I decided to draw different plants of the four seasons in Taiwan. To present the difference between the four seasons, I used different colour schemes to deliver the vibes.

I drew a robot from a fantasy world. This particular robot is a wanderer, but also a scientist. It is equipped with three large wheels on its feet for mobility. Its body is semi-transparent with mechanical components inside, and its large eyes with glass lenses look curious. It has no arms but can operate using different tools attached to its sides. Its legs are equipped with mechanical claws. Its head is topped with a yellow roof, and it is surrounded by colorful planets and clouds, from which small stars and crystals emerge.
